Governance

The Calgary TELUS Convention Centre is owned by The City of Calgary and operated by the Calgary Convention Centre Authority. The Authority is charged with maximizing overall economic benefits of the CTCC to Calgarians and maintaining acceptable financial performance.

The Authority has worked with City Council to improve the CCCA’s governance framework, specifically to establish and clearly define accountabilities for defined outcomes, roles and responsibilities.

The Authority will ensure members have the experience and skill needed to guide the organization through a complex operating environment. As part of its governance framework, the CCCA regularly reports to City Council on the CTCC’s activities, strategic focus and ongoing plans.
