Everything you’d expect from a Convention Centre with a few twists that are sure to exceed your expectations.
Obviously, we were built to host conferences and conventions. From large spaces for whole group gatherings and display booths to more intimate settings for break-out meetings or office space, CTCC was designed with this purpose in mind. Plenty of pre-function spaces provide warm welcomes and promote smooth transitions. And most of our rooms can be configured to accommodate a variety of uses. What you might not expect are our indoor connections to three four-star hotels that allow delegates to sleep in luxury within minutes of the next day’s events.
North Building
Exhibition Hall CDE provides over 47,000 square feet of free-span space with two partitions that can divide the hall into three multi-purpose halls. This space is ideal for opening and closing sessions, award presentations, ceremonies or Keynote speaker events.
The abundant Pre-function space in front of Exhibition Hall CDE can be used for display space, informal gatherings or registration. For smaller gatherings such as workshops or follow-up sessions, the TELUS meeting rooms have soundproof walls, flexible room configurations and a spacious foyer area. They are ideal for concurrent session planning.
South Building
Macleod Hall divides into seven soundproof areas with individual audio visual, lighting and temperature controls. This space is ideal for presentations, events, celebrations or break-out meetings. Macleod E has four separate rooms, pre-function space and 14-foot ceilings. The spaces could be used for break-out meetings, workshops and other small group gatherings.
The abundant Pre-function spaces in front of Macleod Hall and Macleod E can be used for registration, buffet service meals, refreshment breaks or a cocktail reception. The upper-floor Glen Meeting Rooms offer flexible configurations with full telecommunications services and a large pre-function space.
