North Building
Exhibition Hall CDE provides over 47,000 square feet of free-span space for tradeshows of up to 274 10'x10' booths. The hall’s spectacular floor-to-ceiling (29.9') windows overlook Olympic Plaza and historic Stephen Avenue with abundant natural light that creates an inviting setting for major tradeshows and exhibitions. Here are a few of the functional features:
- For the ultimate in flexibility, there are two partitions that can divide the hall into three multi-purpose halls.
- A floor-port system runs telecommunications, fibre-optic and CAT6 cabling, water, drainage and compressed air under the floor directly to the booths.
- The floor can support a weight load of 350 pounds per square foot.
- A five-bay loading dock features drive-up ramp access to the exhibition floor.
The North Hall Pre-Function space can accommodate an additional 20 10'x10' tradeshow booths, or can be used for a reception or registration. And the feature wall of windows has electronically controlled dimming or blackout blinds for ultimate control.
South Building
Macleod Hall has more than 19,000 square feet providing space for 100 10'x10' booths. The full hall will seat 1,600 guests for meals with either plated or buffet service and welcome over 1,700 guests for a reception. Theatre-style seating will accommodate 2,100 guests, or you can fit 1,134 guests with classroom seating. Macleod Hall also divides into seven soundproof areas with individual audio visual, lighting and temperature controls. This space is ideal for presentations, events, celebrations or breakout meetings.
