Whether you need a basic shared high-speed connection or premium dedicated high-speed with private access to your corporate networks, Calgary TELUS Convention Centre has the infrastructure and the team to make it happen.
Our facility is connected directly to TELUS Managed Enterprise Services, with a fully dedicated 1000 Mbps connection. As the exclusive provider of all telecommunication services for our clients, CTCC can provide easy access, user-friendly and flexible connections to the world. We also provide a range of other technology services.
Computer Rentals
Need to set up an Internet café or computer kiosks? CTCC computer rentals include: 24” monitor, Windows® 7, Microsoft® Office 2010, and wireless Internet connectivity. We also have a range of hubs, switches, routers and other network equipment available for rent.
Wired Connections
Our Cisco network environment provides connections wherever you want – including the capability to create internetworking solutions and private access to corporate networks.
- Basic Shared High Speed (4.5 Mbps download, 640 Kbps upload)
- Premium Dedicated High Speed (10 Mbps to 1 Gbps upload/download)
- Up to 128 routable IP addresses or an unlimited number of dynamic IP addresses
Wireless Connections
For the utmost in convenience, CTCC’s wireless connections include:
- Full wireless coverage throughout our facilities
- Shared wireless connection: 10 Mbps upload/download
- Dedicated wireless connection: 10-54 Mbps upload/download
- Lower-speed, pay-as-you-go wireless networks are also available via web portal in Macleod Hall and Exhibition Hall CDE (payments via credit card)
Video Connections
Our facility is equipped to provide various methods of webcast, video conference or television broadcast signals to and from the CTCC.
- 128 Kbps per line ISDN for video conferencing
- Connected to TELUS Television Operations Centre for digital video transmission
- Cable TV service to most loctions
Telephone
For your convenience, CTCC telephone systems include:
- VOIP and analog lines with voicemail. Capabilities for voice, data and fax
- Direct-dial phone numbers with the ability to restrict outgoing calls
- Polycom speaker phones (where available)
We are also connected to the TELUS network to provide anything from additional PRI/BRI connections to SIP trunking for IP telephone systems.
